I don't drive the wifes 08 DGC too often so today i was entering the highway on a long curved ramp , prob a little faster (but smoothly) than i should

I could feel slight impulses to the steering for a second or 2 then it stopped and started again.

Would that be the esp "telling me i was getting close to the limit" on body roll it didn't feel any where near that

Not sure how that works just asking

That's what it's there for, to counter poor driving habits. :)

Shut it off (traction control or de-fuse) and try the same maneuver again. Replace the battery recently? I have seen stability control sensitivity right after a battery replacement. Doesn't last long though.
How electronic stability control (ESC) works

If there was sand and gravel on the ramp, it probably contributed to it. Plus, the weight transfer to the rear under acceleration.
