A new sound after the van has been parked and driven in the rain for a couple of days: liquid sloshing sound that sounds like it’s coming from the left sliding door sill. Most obvious when barely starting to move, or stopping. It kind of sounds like gas sloshing in a long, low jerry can. I did not drive through a deep puddle. Has anyone heard of this and knows the source of this sound?

doors are obviously hollow inside and they let some water in when it rains

they have little drain holes in them to let the water back out, and sometimes they can become plugged causing the door to fill with water

open the sliding door and see if you can feel the water sloshing when you move it

if you have a stow and go van, look in the holes that the seats go

if you don't have a stow and go van, look in the holes where the seats mount for water

Drain holes plugged in door panel or rocker panel.

I'd check the F&R door's drain slots first. Use a plastic zip-tie to assure that the holes are clear.

Seen lots of Gen4 vans with 'cancer' in the sliders.
