On my 2005 T&C Limited, the intermittent wiper goes a little way and stops, starts again and stops and so on. It also won't park on it's own, has to be manually parked with the switch.
Question is this a problem with the motor (I think so) or is it in the switch or wiring?

Corrosion and crud can build up around the shaft where it goes through the bushing, resulting in binding. Take the arm off and clean out around the shaft with a dental pick.

Do your own teeth first and don't forget to wear a white gown and mask.

Lubricate with Fluid Film after you finish cleaning - not your teeth. :)

Cleaning up the motor won't hurt either, but that's a bit of work. Lubricate, lubricate, lubricate.

The pin in your wiper arm could be binding as well. See here:

The rear wiper is really a job for a Dentist. :)

I'm willing to be it's the motor going bad. Had the same issue twice and both times it was the motor. I've replaced ours twice, in close to 297K miles. (They last about 140K miles) You can buy a motor from AutoZone, for under $50 with a lifetime warranty. It's an easy job for the DIY, taking about 30 min.
