I have a 2013 T&C with 221,000 miles on it. About a month ago it threw the P0420 (bank 1 efficiency threshold) code once and today it threw both P0420 and P0430 (bank 2 efficiency threshold) codes.

At 221,000 miles would you start messing around with the O2 sensors or would you go straight for the catalytic?

At 221,000 miles what are the chances that the catalytics are shot?

It's not throwing any oxygen sensor specific failure codes.

I recently changed where I get gas. Is there any chance it could be related to the gas?

Power seems good, reported gas mileage from the EC you as seen on the dashboard is the same. However under heavy acceleration the engine note seems a little bit different, perhaps a little more throaty.

It seems odd both banks would be starting to throw alarms around the same time unless that’s the way it is at both catalytics weer out at the same time more or less.
